Who we are

Qureo is a connected health platform operated by Qureo Health Technologies. This policy explains how information is handled when you use Qureo through the app, the web, WhatsApp, SMS, USSD, or with support from a community health agent.

Where a service is delivered by a participating provider, pharmacy, or laboratory, that organisation is responsible for the care it provides and handles information in line with its own obligations.

Information we collect

Account information such as your name, contact details, and the country where you are using the service.

Information you choose to provide when using a service, such as the description of a health concern, a consultation record, a prescription, or a test request.

Service information such as which features you used, the channel you used them through, and payment records for services you paid for.

Technical information needed to deliver and secure the service, such as device type and connection details.

How we use information

To deliver the service you asked for, including connecting you with a verified provider, pharmacy, or laboratory.

To keep a record you can access, so care can continue across visits and services.

To process payments and, where a programme applies, to confirm sponsored or employer-funded access.

To improve the quality, accuracy, and accessibility of the service.

To meet legal, regulatory, and healthcare obligations in the country where a service is delivered.

Sharing information

Qureo does not sell personal health information.

Information is shared with a provider when you take an action to share it, or where it is necessary to deliver a service you have requested, such as sending a prescription to a pharmacy you selected.

Service providers who support the operation of the platform, for example hosting or payment processing, may handle information on our behalf under agreements that limit what they may do with it.

Information may be disclosed where required by law or where necessary to protect someone from serious harm.

Your choices and rights

You can request a copy of the information held about you, ask for information to be corrected, withdraw access you granted to a provider, or ask for your account to be closed.

Rights and the way they are exercised depend on the country where the service is delivered. Contact us and we will explain what applies to you.

Retention

Information is kept for as long as it is needed to deliver the service and to meet healthcare, legal, and regulatory obligations in the relevant country. When it is no longer needed, it is deleted or de-identified.

Security

Qureo applies organisational and technical measures intended to protect information against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse, and reviews those measures as the platform develops. No online service can promise absolute security.

Younger users

Where a service is offered to a young person, it is provided in line with the age and consent requirements of the country concerned, including any requirement for a parent or guardian to be involved.

Changes to this policy

This policy will be updated as Qureo services expand to new countries and new features. The updated date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
